10 Unique Ways to Customize Your Jewelry | GLDN
We like to think of our jewelry as a canvas. Or, rather, a blank page you can add your own story to—whether your story is serious (like celebrating a new baby) or silly (wearing your BFF’s nickname). If you know us, you know that custom jewelry is our thing; jewelry with names, initials, the list goes on and on. But there are some custom jewelry ideas we haven’t really talked about…until now.
Ahead, 10 of our current favorite ways to personalize your jewelry that you (might have) never thought of—many of which are inspired by our community and their incredible ideas.
1) Spotlight your lucky number
Whether it’s a house number, zip code, lucky number, jersey number or angel number (like 22 or 777), numbers are powerful, personal symbols. Plus, they’re one of our favorite ways to customize jewelry for one reason: they’re subtle. Numbers are meaningful emblems you can wear 24/7…that most people looking at your piece won’t understand (unless they ask).

2) Highlight your state flower
…or flowers that remind you of home, grow in the places you love or remind you of a vacation you’ll always cherish. Are you a New Yorker? Opt for a rose stamp. Californian? The poppy is for you! We don’t have every single state flower represented in our Flora Collection, but we do have most—and we definitely have flowers that can subtly represent all different parts of the world.

3) Choose a word of the year

Whatever the moment is, add the specific time or date to a piece and carry it with you, always! Pro tip: add the date in Roman numerals for a more elegant look.
