What materials are used in GLDN jewelry?

GLDN offers pieces in Gold Fill (14k gold‑filled), Sterling Silver (925), and Solid 14k Gold.

• Gold‑filled is made by pressure-bonding a thick layer of 14k gold to a brass core, it’s durable, tarnish-resistant, and hypoallergenic.

• Sterling silver is 92.5% pure silver mixed with copper for strength—precious, versatile, and low allergy risk.

• Vermeil is a thick layer of 14k or 18k gold over a sterling silver base—perfect if you want the solid-gold look at a slightly lower price point. It offers more longevity than typical gold plating.

• 10k solid gold has a higher percentage of alloy metals, which makes it slightly paler in color and more durable. It’s a great, lower-cost option for everyday wear.

We love lab-grown gemstones for many reasons: they’re more environmentally friendly, don’t contribute to mining-related displacement, and offer a more affordable option without compromising beauty or quality.

Even durable materials benefit from a little extra love. Use the polishing cloth included with your piece, avoid chemicals and chlorinated water, and store your jewelry away from moisture and direct sunlight. Deep-clean every ~10 wears with lukewarm water and gentle soap, then dry thoroughly.

Can I shower or swim with my jewelry on?

• Solid 10k or 14k gold: Yes, you can leave it on in the shower—hot, clean water and gentle soap will even passively clean it for you.

• Gold fill & sterling silver: Remove first. Chlorine, saltwater, sunscreen, and sweat can dull or damage them over time.
