Why are these colors different than traditional birthstone colors?

We thought birthstones were in time for an upgrade. While we took inspiration from the traditional shades and didn't stray too far, we gave them a modern twist: subtler shades that actually stack well together and look good worn 24/7.

Can I choose a different chain for this necklace?

You can build your own Aura Necklace with a pendant chain plus a Solid Gold Aura Gemstone Charm if you don't like the style of this chain!

Can I get a custom gemstone? Why are only some gemstones available in solid gold?

These gemstones are sourced ahead of time and cannot be customized. Some of our more expensive gemstones—like moonstone and opal—are only available in solid gold due to their higher price.

Are these gemstones real? Do colors vary from piece to piece?

These gemstones shift depending on the lighting and angle, so they might look a little bit different than what you see here. We use a combination of genuine gemstones and lab-grown gemstones in these pieces—see our product details for specifics on each gemstone!

How do I care for this piece of jewelry?

Since it depends on which metal you chose, see our care tips blog and help center for detailed instructions on how to care for specific metals and gemstones. (Spoiler: all of our pieces require very minimal upkeep and occasional polishing, and can basically be worn 24/7 if you keep them away from harsh cleansers, chlorine and chemicals.)

Sizing Guide

Find a tool to use (string, dental floss, headphone cord, measuring tape if you have it).
Find the length by wrapping it around your neck and marking it (for pendants, imagine the jewelry lower, for suspended, it should be in line).
Check the length against a ruler or lay it out flat and measure with a phone app.

Alternatively: Measure an existing necklace end to end with a ruler (most accurate) or a phone app (great if you don't have a ruler handy).

Repairs
We offer free repairs for up to 6 months (for most items) or up to 3 years for solid gold, processed 1-2 weeks after we receive your piece(s). Pricing varies on older orders.
