  2. When we receive your sample, we will reply via email to let you know if it meets our guidelines, and we'll work with you to confirm all the details
  3. Once your handwriting is confirmed, our makers will begin on your piece!

The solid gold look without the solid gold price. Our gold fill pieces feature a heavy layer of 14k gold that’s been heat- and pressure-bonded to a jeweler’s brass core. Similar to our gold plating, but with even more durability thanks to the bonding process.

  2. Find the length by wrapping it around your neck and marking it (for pendants, imagine the jewelry lower, for suspended, it should be in line).

Returns
Personalized items aren’t eligible for returns for refund, but can be exchanged for store credit within 90 days. Exchanges are free with package protection or $8 without.

Warranty
We offer a six-month warranty on all gold fill, vermeil, and sterling silver jewelry.  On solid gold pieces, we offer a three-year warranty.

    Wore for an hour and broke

    Was so excited to receive that I put it on immediately then wore to do a few errands. Came home to find it no longer on my neck! Luckily I found the necklace in my car. Contacted glnd and they sent me a return label and promised to send me a new one. Might update review if new one doesn’t break. Piece was important to me as it is my deceased husbands signature from a Valentine’s Day card

    She loved it!

    My husband and I combined with me, writing out my husband and I combined with me writing our daughter’s name on the front and him writing a loving message on the back. It came quickly just in time for her 16th birthday in fact. It looks beautiful and minimalist yet personal and intricate.

    I wish the chain were slightly heavier and that the length was 1 inch longer. They were great to work with and produced a beautiful gift.

Our made-to-order timeframes are listed on each product page! It typically takes us around 4-7 takes to handcraft this piece, but this may change based on holidays or busy periods. For current transit times, refer to our shipping options page.

Can this handwritten necklace accommodate symbols or special characters?

We can only include written lines (no large areas of black) or small handwritten shapes, like hearts. See our guidelines for submitting your handwriting!

We can accommodate five words max, which can be dependent on the length of each word or size of the piece. After your purchase, you’ll receive an order confirmation as well as a separate email where you can submit your handwriting sample and confirm a few more details. If your submission is too long, we’ll let you know then!
