A practical balance between cost and quality, our gold-filled pieces have a thick layer of 14k gold, heat and pressure bonded to a high-quality brass core. They contain much more real gold than regular gold-plating.

How can I personalize this tag necklace?

Some of our favorite ways to personalize are with initials (yours or the initials of someone you love), a special date in Roman numerals, names or super-short phrases. The personalization is quite subtle and won’t be readable from a distance.

Can I choose a different font or orientation?

Reach out to support@gldn.com and we'll see what we can do. Some fonts from our Palermo or Ono Necklaces can be used here!

Can I have something stamped on the back of the pendant?

Reach out to support@gldn.com and we'll look into your specific request! It depends on a few different factors.

Can I get this pendant on a different chain?

Do I need an extender for my bar tag necklace?

If you would rather have the option to wear your necklace shorter or longer, we say go for it—an extender is always a good idea! If you know which necklace length you prefer, you could always skip the extender (and purchase one separately later).

Since it depends on which metal you chose, see our care tips blog and help center for detailed instructions on how to care for specific metals and gemstones. (Spoiler: all of our pieces require very minimal upkeep and occasional polishing, and can basically be worn 24/7 if you keep them away from harsh cleansers, chlorine and chemicals.)
