Aura Birthstones are our modern take on traditional birthstones: a more subtle, refined palette for everyday wear! Along with representing each birth month, each aura charm also symbolizes other meanings.

Are these gemstones real? Do colors vary from piece to piece?

These gemstones shift depending on the lighting and angle, so they might look a little bit different than what you see here. We use a combination of genuine gemstones and lab-grown gemstones in these pieces—see our product details for specifics on each gemstone!

Can I wear these gemstone charms for bracelets or necklaces?

These were designed to wear on necklaces primarily, but you can definitely add a charm to a dainty bracelet (or our Custom Charm Bracelet)!

How do I care for this piece of jewelry?

Since it depends on which metal you chose, see our care tips blog and help center for detailed instructions on how to care for specific metals and gemstones. (Spoiler: all of our pieces require very minimal upkeep and occasional polishing, and can basically be worn 24/7 if you keep them away from harsh cleansers, chlorine and chemicals.)

Solid, precious metal that lasts forever. It darkens with time, but can be polished up. Oils from your skin help prevent silver tarnish... so wear it often!

More premium than traditional gold plating, vermeil is an extra thick layer of real gold over solid sterling silver. We use 14k or 18k gold depending on the piece.

Exchanges

13th birthday gift :)
I bought this as a gift to celebrate my niece’s 13th birthday. I thought this was a very nice, grown up way of marking her becoming a teenager 😊 I have heard that she really likes it from my brother-in-law! I think that it will be a good first piece of grown up jewellery and will transition with her as she matures. She can wear it at 13 and at 33 etc. 😋

Perfect memento
I recently purchased the April birthstone charm as a Mother’s Day gift for my mom and sisters in honor of our matriarch. It is so dainty and subtle. I love that each of us can style it however we want but it also carries shared personal meaning for all of us. When I wear it I think of my grandmother and the legacy she left behind and I feel connected to my mom and sisters, even thought they are states away.
