Set with a natural abalone and the tiniest gemstone, like a star in the desert sky. No two abalones are exactly alike, and colors range from green to blue to neutral taupes and golds. Your piece may not look exactly like the photos, as this natural material varies wildly (which is what makes it so unique)! Available as a charm or full necklace.

    Perfect Staple Necklace

    I absolutely love this charm. It’s beautifully made. They accommodated my special request to provide a version that had mostly blues and greens. I got it to commemorate surviving my divorce (abalone pearls are made after a parasite enters the shell 😉 ). Thank you- will be ordering from you again!

    I love this abalone charm, loved it on the Halle chain in the pictures so I got that one and its perfect. The chain is very dainty and beautiful on. I know some people mentioned they were disappointed when their shell charm arrived and was more purple than blue/green but mine came blue/green. Its perfect!

What is abalone? How do I care for it?

Abalone is an iridescent layer of a seashell, much like mother of pearl. We use farm-raised abalone in our Aly & AJ pieces for sustainability! To care for abalone, avoid harsh chemicals and soaking the piece in water; we recommend removing before showering or swimming to maintain its delicate shine. To clean, gently wipe with a soft cloth.
