- Find a tool to use (string, dental floss, headphone cord, measuring tape if you have it).

I received my necklace and absolutely loved it (at first). I noticed they recommended not getting perfume on it, not showering with it on, not swimming with it on, etc. I find it impractical to take a necklace on and off so many times a day, so I hoped for the best and kept it on. The necklace was tarnished in no time. I followed cleaning instructions and then even bought a cleaner for it. The cleaner did help, but the damage was done. I wish the necklace held up (or maybe I should have splurged and gotten the solid gold one instead). I had purchased it to remind me of a baby I lost. Overall, I guess it was my fault for not following care instructions- I just don’t know who has the time and willpower to take a necklace on and off so many times.

This is the second of these necklaces I’ve gotten from gldn. And while I absolutely love the design and engraving. This is the second time the chain has broken. I do wear this everyday but not in the shower or anything so it seems like there is an issue with the chain itself.
