As with any pearl piece, we recommend keeping away from harsh cleansers and beauty products, wearing them often, storing them in linen or cloth (no airtight containers) and gently wiping to clean so they'll stay lustrous forever. For more pearl care tips, check out our journal!

A practical balance between cost and quality, our gold-filled pieces have a thick layer of 14k gold, heat and pressure bonded to a high-quality brass core. They contain much more real gold than regular gold-plating.

How do I care for these asymmetrical pearl earrings?

Pearls are natural, moisture-loving gemstones that react negatively to chemicals and harsh cleansers—but it’s easy to keep them happy and lustrous for a lifetime with a few easy care tips! Keep pearls away from harsh cleansers and chemicals, remove before rigorous activities, avoid high temperatures and wear them often. For more care tips, check out our journal!

What kind of pearls are used in these pearl drop earrings?

These earrings are made with freshwater pearls! Compared to saltwater pearls, freshwater pearls are created with a thicker layer of nacre, resulting in more shine and a longer-lasting gemstone that’s less susceptible to the elements and everyday wear. We exclusively use freshwater pearls in our pieces because they last longer, shine brighter and are more affordable than their sisters of the sea.
