Because the world needs more people to challenge the status quo. All profits donated to the ongoing fight for social justice.
Brief History Lesson:
The raised fist has long been a part of our collectively understood symbols of resistance. It has been used by many different oppressed groups over the years to signify their rejection of an unjust status quo. The gesture became iconic in the US through its use in the civil rights movement as a sign of Black Power. Most recently, the gesture has been at the forefront of the Black Lives Matter movement as well as among women's rights activists.
Part of the Hand Gestures collection, a collaboration with artist Lorraine Sorlet. This collection is a reminder that emotions can be communicated in so many ways, and that their expression nurtures mental health.
