More premium than traditional gold plating, vermeil is an extra thick layer of real gold over solid sterling silver. We use 14k or 18k gold depending on the piece.

These hoops clasp closed in the back. To open, we recommend sliding your fingernail under the clasp until it pops open.

These hoops are slightly smaller (but only by 1.5mm)! They're both perfect to wear as huggies, and were designed to stack together.

Since it depends on which metal you chose, see our care tips blog and help center for detailed instructions on how to care for specific metals and gemstones. (Spoiler: all of our pieces require very minimal upkeep and occasional polishing, and can basically be worn 24/7 if you keep them away from harsh cleansers, chlorine and chemicals.)
