The solid gold look without the solid gold price. Our gold fill pieces feature a heavy layer of 14k gold that’s been heat- and pressure-bonded to a jeweler’s brass core. Similar to our gold plating, but with even more durability thanks to the bonding process.

My family gave this chain to me for Christmas and by March it had tarnished very badly with only daily use. I do not shower, swim, or exercise wearing the necklace, and I don’t apply creams or wear perfumes in a way that would come in contact with it. It’s really noticeable and reappeared quickly even after using a cleaner designed for gold. I’m really disappointed with this piece’s quality as compared to my other gold-filled jewelry (pictured next to this chain as comparison, worn at the same time).
