As a natural gemstone, no two aquamarines are exactly alike. Colors can range from a silvery grey to a pale blue to a brighter sky blue, with different levels of opacity (AKA some are more clear, while others are more misty or cloudy).

Clean gently with warm, soapy water (but avoid harsh chemicals or extreme temperatures). Aquamarines are quite a hard gemstone, so they don't scratch easily—but it's always best to store them carefully just in case.

Abalone is an iridescent layer of a seashell, much like mother of pearl. We use farm-raised abalone in our Aly & AJ pieces for sustainability! To care for abalone, avoid harsh chemicals and soaking the piece in water; we recommend removing before showering or swimming to maintain its delicate shine. To clean, gently wipe with a soft cloth.
