14k Gold Filled
14k Gold Filled
Ease of care: 4/5

The solid gold look without the solid gold price. Our gold fill pieces feature a heavy layer of 14k gold that’s been heat- and pressure-bonded to a jeweler’s brass core. Similar to our gold plating, but with even more durability thanks to the bonding process.

Sterling Silver
Sterling Silver
Ease of care: 4/5

Solid, precious metal that lasts forever. It darkens with time, but can be polished up. Oils from your skin help prevent silver tarnish... so wear it often!

14k Solid Gold
14k Solid Gold
Ease of care: 5/5

A low maintenance, fine jewelry favorite that will last forever. It's pure gold mixed with other alloys to make it more durable & give it a beautiful hue.

10k Solid Gold
10k Solid Gold
Ease of care: 5/5

More durable, scratch-resistant and affordable than its 14k counterpart, 10k solid gold offers a softer, subtler tone—ideal for those who prefer a less intense yellow.

Want even more details about materials? Check this out.

  1. Find a tool to use (string, dental floss, headphone cord, measuring tape if you have it).
  2. Find the length by wrapping it around your neck and marking it (for pendants, imagine the jewelry lower, for suspended, it should be in line).
  3. Check the length against a ruler or lay it out flat and measure with a phone app.

Alternatively: Measure an existing necklace end to end with a ruler (most accurate) or a phone app (great if you don't have a ruler handy).

    Beautiful reminder

I have purchased many items from GLDN and this is my most recent necklace purchase. After my second born arrived, I knew I wanted something to wear to represent both of them. It’s beautiful on and I get compliments frequently!

    This was my favorite necklace

My husband bought me two pendant with my kids' initials. It was my absolute favorite necklace, but it is way too delicate for the price. It's breaks at the slightest tug and I've had to pay to get it repaired 4 times. This last time, the little discs fell off with it and now all I have is a 4x broken chain and no more initials. I'm sad and disappointed in the cost.

    Beautiful pieces

This is my 3rd time purchasing from GLDN and it doesn’t disappoint. I bought the personalized necklace along with the aura birthstone for my daughter after she gave birth to her second baby! The pieces are very well made and delicate :)

    Necklace Review

Waited a long time for it and paid customs on it. Although it is a lovely piece of jewellery, one of my discs has a mark on it and the fine chain catches in your hair very easily. Thought it would be more durable than that.

    Broke After 1 Wear

My necklace broke after one day of wear. My previous GLDN necklace broke in the same spot, but I had it for a long time so I thought it was just normal wear and tear. Since this one broke after one day, however, it is clear there is a quality issue.

Our Care Team sent you Return Instructions, but we also offer some other chains that are more durable if you'd be interested in an exchange. Just send our Care Team an email and we're happy to help!

FAQS

All you need to know about the Personalized Lor Necklace.

Find answers to our most-asked questions here, from care tips to jewelry options and more.

What are the options for personalizing the Personalized Lor Necklace?

You can personalize the Personalized Lor Necklace with custom initials or choose from 80+ illustrative stamps.

Can I choose a stamp not listed here?

We specifically chose these stamps to fit perfectly on this disk. But, that said, a few other stamps can technically fit. Reach out to us and we'll help with your special request!

Can I add more disks to this necklace later?

Yes! See our Extra Lor Disk and add to your chain anytime.

Can I have something stamped on the back, too?

We don't offer backstamping on this piece; it can show through and affect the stamp on the front.

Which metal should I choose for my disk necklace?

It really depends on your personal style. 14k gold fill, sterling silver, rose gold fill and 14k solid gold are timeless, long-lasting metals that are easy to care for and made to wear 24/7. If you’re looking for something more affordable, we recommend 14k gold fill, sterling silver or rose gold fill. For a luxurious heirloom piece that can be passed down to future generations, we recommend 14k solid gold—it’ll never tarnish, fade or rust; you can truly wear it for a lifetime. For more information on our metals, check out our jewelry metal guide.

How do I care for this piece of jewelry?

Since it depends on which metal you chose, see our care tips blog and help center for detailed instructions on how to care for specific metals and gemstones. (Spoiler: all of our pieces require very minimal upkeep and occasional polishing, and can basically be worn 24/7 if you keep them away from harsh cleansers, chlorine and chemicals.)

What are the shipping options for this piece?

It varies based on where you are in the world, and whether the piece is marked made-to-order or ready-to-ship. See our shipping page for specific arrival times.

Can I return this piece? What’s the return policy?

Yes! We have a full happiness guarantee for every piece, even personalized ones See our Return Policies for full info on returns, repairs and exchanges.
